Party: Kim Gangmin Warming Up The Haus am See

My name is Gangmin Kim and ‘Kim Gangmin’ is my Artist name.
I was born in 1984 in Daejeon, South Korea .
As I love traveling, I would really enjoy meeting people of other countries that like listening to my music.

I grew up with music from an early age on. When I was a young boy my parents encouraged me to play the piano.

In 2000 my family has moved to Bucharest in Romania.

In Bucharest I continued my musical career.
I moved on to electronic music by starting to mix tracks while I was in High School.
I also have used to organize several successful school parties.
Based on these experiences I also started organizing private parties in Bucharest after graduating from High School.
Organizing parties and playing tracks was soon not enough for me anymore.

I was seeking for the reasons why certain sounds and tracks made the crowd dance like crazy.
This encouraged me to move to Berlin in Germany and to study Audio Engineering in S.A.E college
since 2008 residing in Berlin, where I found myself and my sound.

I have started playing acts with DJs like Mark Henning, Nils Ohrmann, Sven Dohse, Ricardo Esposito, DJ Mieko and the underground Labels called Minex AKA H.S.L from berlin, I also had slots in locations like RAW Temple, M.I.K.Z, Dice club, M-BIA and so on.

At Dice Club I co-organized a European-Korean Party called SuriSuriMaSuri in 2011
The concept was to combine the tastes of European and Korea electronic music cultures.
The Party was a success and it is still to be continued to organize on similar events and concepts in the future.
Today I am still concentrating to produce more tracks and constantly play the music in Lining bar and Mein Haus am see in Berlin.

In the future I wish the gap between the musical cultures of Korea and Europe will be much more closed and my tracks can reach a wider audience.
What won’t be changed is my constant commitment to music, as I am sure that in this moment I am sitting in my small home studio producing new music for the people of this world.
