Party: SUP Club – Two Tree Black Ops!

We have a sunny Wednesday at last... Unfortunately that sun does seem to be reinforcing a building easterly breeze – but we reckon we're within doable limits, so with a 7.40pm low tide we're going to stick with the coast. (Just be ready for a decent workout on the way out: ideally stronger paddlers with some grit and determination tonight!) So why 'Black Ops'? Well, we don't want anyone to hit Two Tree Island (www.supsect.com/two-tree-island) before 6.10pm so we all get there after the Foreshore Officer has gone home and hence can't charge for launching from the slipway (do have £4 handy though, as we will need to pay if the office is still manned!) Then we want everyone ready soon after 6.30, so that shorter boards / newer paddlers can launch first at 6.40pm, followed by all-comers at 6.45pm and finally finally full-on / raceboard types by 6.50pm. (There will be some difference in pace heading out tonight, so please let the sub-11-footers off first!) We'll head towards Seal Point but doubt many will make it that far before turning at 7.30pm for a downwinder home. Then after, beers and fodder, location tba depending on what time we're done...
