It was 1997 when The Afterglow appeared on the Craven and Pendle music scene. At that time there were no bands playing the music from the late 70s and early 80s, an era of music that was tearing up the establishment with the raw energy of punk and new wave. The Afterglow picked some of the era's classic tunes and made them their own injecting new life and energy into them.

Almost 20 years later and that energy is still evident today
