I See Stars
On October 22nd, I SEE STARS will be releasing their highly anticipated, fourth full-length album, New Demons. Taking their style of electronic hardcore music (EHM) to new levels, the band reaches deeper into the genre they helped build further surpassing all limitations.
I SEE STARS exploded into the mainstream in 2011 after making their national television debut on the ABC late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” This coupled with being featured on the covers of Alternative Press and Substream Magazine and touring all across North America with Black Veil Brides on the “AP Tour” helped them gain legions of devoted fans.
However, in 2012 the group had their most successful year yet with the release of digital_renegade, their third full-length album. This new effort was recorded with acclaimed producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Emmure) and the end result was a propulsive blend of aggressive music alongside build ups that spawn from the core of techno/dub-step/electro. This disc was highly regarded by fans and media alike as their best offering yet and yielded AMP and Outburn Magazine cover features.
In 2013, I SEE STARS expels all of their demons truly coming into their own, unique sound and will ultimately leave their definitive mark on the genre with this release.

Something Clever
Something Clever is a rock band out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The bands members are lead vocalist Adam Nelson, lead guitarist Kelly Flusk, guitarist Brett Baker, bassist Colt Crevar, and drummer Dylan Roles.
They are known for their diverse rock sound and high energy live shows. Something Clever emerged with an Alternative Rock sound but their style is slowly growing and evolving into a harder alternative/metal sound.
The band was formed in 2011, and in 2012 the band recorded their first EP titled “Walk Away” which was released July 7th, 2012 as a 7 song independent record produced and engineered by Michael Pepe. That same year, the band shared the stage with The Red Jumpsuit Appratus, Saving Abel, and Sum 41 and ended up #1 in all voting categories at the 2012 Ernie Ball and Rockstar Energy Drink Battle of the Bands for Simpsonville, SC.
In 2013, Something Clever met up with Charlotte’s own WSOC TV to create a custom song for the annual High School football show that was set to premiere throughout the season. The song was recorded at Concentrix Studios in Charlotte, mixed and engineered by Fred Story and Michael McGinnis.
Something Clever released their single “Freaks Like You” on December 3rd 2013. It was recorded and mixed by Drew Cyphers, and mastered by Dave Harris at Studio B mastering. The single made a gritty, raw, statement that pulls no punches. The band then followed up with a music video for the song that was released in January 2014.
In the months following the release of “Freaks Like You” the band traveled to cities from Wilmington, NC to Atlanta, GA. They also had the opportunity to open up for Adelitas Way, New Medicine, and Tantric.
Something Clever released another single titled “Best Laid Plans” on June 1st 2014, produced again by Michael Pepe at Sioux Sioux Studios in Charlotte. The song was reviewed by Brian Hatchell of “The Pit Unsigned” and he stated “I knew this band had put together another GEM and their fans were going to go INSANE when they heard it.” ‘Freaks Like You’ and ‘Best Laid Plans’ are available for free download on www.reverbnation.com/somethingclever.
