We're more than delighted to welcome back the hugely influential NWOBHM band, Diamond Head, to Krakatoa.
Acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence, they recorded self-financed demo tapes in 1979. Recorded within six hours on a four-track, their unique sound and quality of writing gained enough attention for the band to tour as support to AC/DC and Iron Maiden. They also opened Donnington Monsters of Rock, toured with Black Sabbath, and had Tony Iommi and Dave Mustaine appear on records.
These days, you can catch the band touring and playing festivals extensively across Europe, the US, and Japan.
