Huzzah! It's that time of year again, dearest ladies and chaps. The most fashionable event on two wheels. You are cordially invited to attend the 6th Annual St. Pete Tweed Ride and gala at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.

Doors open and registration begins: 2:00 PM

Ride starts: 4:00 pm
A leisurely bike ride through downtown St Petersburg, wearing your finest tweed or other fashionable vintage.

After party: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Music by Dean Johanesen & The 24 Hour Men
Food truck Taste Budds and our Presenting Sponsor Cycle Brewing will be onsite for food and drink purchase after the ride.

The event will take place rain or shine!

You are responsible for your own safety on the ride. You are riding at your own risk. We recommend all safety equipment and proper cycling behavior. Safety first!

There will lots of videos and photographs being shot before, during and after the ride including a group shot. This means you may be videotaped and photographed while looking quite stylish. The necessary disclaimer: "if you attend the event you are also complying to be on the video and in the photos".

FAQs

----> Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The event is all ages. Cycle Brewing beer will be served by donation, therefore we will be checking IDs at registration.

---->What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Some parking is available in the lot east of the Club, in the street parking spaces around Mirror Lake, or in approved spaces on the west side of the Club near the Bike Co-op. The farthest two aisles west of the club belong to Mirror Lake Condominiums and are marked as such. Do not park in spaces reserved for residents - they actively tow.

RIDE SAFETY TIPS

Understand that you are responsible for your own safety. It is also important to be aware of your surroundings for the safety of the group.

Pay attention to instructions from Safety Marshals
Follow traffic laws
No Headphones! While riding a bicycle it is illegal
Kids under 16 years of age must wear helmets
Do not ride on the sidewalk
Passing: A passing cyclist is responsible for the safety of the cyclist that is being passed. When passing ring a bell and/or verbally say "on your left"
Do not sprint ahead of the ride leaders
No drinking of alcohol or illegal activity during ride
Do not filter forward past stopped cars at a red light or stop sign
Do not litter or vandalize any property
Do not stop abruptly
If you must stop to check your bike, phone, gear etc please move over to the sidewalk when it's clear
Watch out for loose clothing that may get caught in chains, wheels, etc
Try to keep the group together and not let large gaps form
Waive, smile and thank the cars that are waiting for the group to pass
Pay attention to instructions from Safety Marshals

Always perform an "ABC Quick Check” to ensure that your bike is in safe working order.
