Introducing – The band Blackcoral; a newly formed band, having established in May 2014.

Blackcoral have made a few appearances in and around The Mackay CBD entertaining at local hotels and establishments such as The Andergrove Tavern, Dolphin Head’s Resort, Blacks Beach Tavern, Mc Guires Hotel, The Old Railway Hotel, Hotel Mackay, and The Rum Bar to name just a few. Making voluntary public appearances for the homeless shelter and The New Zealand community festival (Waitangi Day), Appearing at community based events such as The Mackay Beach Races and The Mackay Races Ooralea.

Mackay and The Whitsundays is such a beautiful region and have a lot to offer to the local community and to travelers and commuters new to the area. We aim to entertain the Mackay and Whitsunday region, to build a strong hold within the live entertainment industry. Blackcoral has an extensive repertoire of song’s and music covering many genre’s ranging from Rock, Pop, Funk, R&B, Reggae, Country and even a few classic ballads dating from The early 60’s to today’s top 20 chart toppers.
