Ipshita Roy has been performing in India since 2009. She is one of the well known names in the Delhi circle of musicians and also a voice faculty at One World College of Music and Global Music Institute. Ipshita is a trained Hindustani Classical Vocalist, who has been professionally performing Blues and RnB since 2009. She started her professional career with her band “Big Bang Blues,” which has been successfully playing and touring India and abroad since 2009. As part of the band, she has performed across various cities and festivals in India and has also represented India at the Cotai International Jazz and Blues competition, Macau, as the top 12 finalists in the world with Big Bang Blues.
Ipshita has been performing as a duo, trio and a quartet along with other session musicians since 2013. She is currently working on her own compositions and rearranged pop music besides performing Blues, RnB and Jazz standards.
Akhil started playing drums while studying in college. He graduated from IIT Bombay and spent four years in the corporate sector before returning to music in 2012. A Rockschool Grade-8 Distinction Performance Certificate holder, Akhil has had the opportunity to play alongside bands like Kailasa (of the Kailash Kher fame), E.K.A. (ex-Euphoria members). He has been the winner of many awards in events/competitions across Mumbai.
He currently plays with 'Blue Breakfast', 'Epic' and 'Sage' and does sessions work for various artists across Delhi. He is also Senior Drum Faculty at One World College of Music, Gurgaon since 2013.
Rythem Bansal is a professional pianist and educator based in New Delhi, India. He has successfully completed Grade 8 with merit in Piano from Trinity College of Music, London. He has won school level Zonals and Nationals 3 times in a row and won several inter-school music competitions. He is currently working at Performers Collective (formerly Gurgaon School of Music) as the Piano faculty. Currently, he plays piano/keyboards for bands such as Grey Area and Hanita Bhambri Collective. The latter was featured on BalconyTV Delhi and selected amongst the Top 3 Bands by Hard Rock Cafe in the New Delhi region. He is one of the youngest musicians to perform at the Delhi International Jazz Festival as a part of Soul of India led by Sarangi player Kamal Sabri.
