TECHNIMATIC

Having started making music together back in 2008 as Technicolour & Komatic, releasing their first record ‘Preacher’ on Technique’s sister imprint Worldwide Audio, little could be known of what the future had in store. Since then the duo have gone on to release their liquid-infused blend of hyper-coloured D&B on labels such as Critical, Hospital, SGN:LTD and even the seminal Good Looking with Technicolour’s own official remix of LTJ Bukem’s ‘Music’.

Endorsed by Friction, Annie Mac, Eddy Temple-Morris, Gilles Peterson, Mistajam, Rob Da Bank, the duo continue to ride high on the tail end of their recent summer 2015 ‘Flashbulb EP’, whilst beginning work on their second studio album.

UTAH JAZZ

Major remixes for WILEY, TRICKY & LETHAL BIZZLE followed soon after the release of the album "It's A Jazz Thing", along with a host of exotic tour dates which saw Jazz capture legions of admirers from Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Prague, Milan, New York and Athens to Australia & New Zealand – and everywhere inbetween.

The electric versatility of his soulful dancefloor style has made Luke Wilson one of the most sought-after DJs on the international stage. Mixing anything from 1993 LTJ Bukem classics to the latest Sub Focus banger, Utah Jazz is a party-bringer like no other, with one-off dubplates, three-deck mixes and old-skool razzledazzle bursting from his bag of tricks.

SP:MC

Versatility & quality control are a guarantee when SP's in the building. He cites MCs GQ, Dynamite & Conrad as early influences. In 2003 he was nominated for 'Best Breakthrough MC' at the Knowledge D&B Awards. He was then nominated for 'Best MC' at 1Xtra's XtraBass Awards in March 2007, & was shortlisted at the D&BArena Awards 2009-2015. In 2011, SP was crowned 'Best MC' at the D&BArena Awards.

RISE

Rise started as a simple idea between two mates. We wanted more Drum & Bass in Swansea, but mainly Drum & Bass that hadn’t been done here before, or at least not for a while. This led to us organising our first event where we brought Kove to Sin City. What we thought would be a fairly quiet start to our brand turned in to the club hitting capacity and having 700 ravers skanking until the lights came on...

With this immediate success, we knew we couldn’t stop. 2 years later, we’ve brought down some of the biggest names in the scene, from High Contrast to Dub Phizix. We’ve given support to local DJs, worked with clothing brands and various artists from around Wales.
