The Dudes, a Calgary-based band, infuse an emotional blend of Al Green and Flaming Lips – soul music and early 1990′s distortion. Dan Vacon, singer-songwriter for The Dudes since their start in the late 90′s, has the ability to draw audiences in through his distinct vocal style – a mixture of strong pop melody, sly double entendres, and pure soul.
The Dudes have produced several lo-fi releases since their inception, however their last musical offering, “Brain Heart Guitar”, propelled them from the Calgary independent music scene (where they were voted Calgary’s "Favourite Band of 2006, 2007 and 2008" by FFWD Readers) into a more national spotlight, and spread their understanding of true rock and roll soul. The Dudes have toured across Canada numerous times since the release of ‘Brain Heart Guitar’, with the likes of Pride Tiger, Two Hours Traffic, Hot Hot Heat and Finger 11. As well as showcasing at festivals like Halifax Pop Explosion, Pop Montreal, NXNE, Canadian Music Week, The Junos, and the West Coast Music Awards.
Brain Heart Guitar was released in 2007. The band’s second album, Blood Guts Bruises Cuts was released in 2009. In 2012, The Dudes released Barbers, Thieves & Bartenders.

Napalmpom plays celebratory rock n' roll so good that even the members of the band play air guitar along to it. Debut LP - 'Ashes Ashes' - Spring 2014.

Outlaws of Ravenhurst were born in a time when the greatest threats were attacks from dragons or the Huns. Being champions of chivalry in the medieval period, they found themselves pitted against many enemies, divisive and twisted. As a result of one of their rivalries, The Outlaws were sucked into the early 2000s through a time-portal created by the evil Wizard Uncle Roger. He hoped that by taking them completely out of their element, the 21st century authorities would have them institutionalized, thinking they were raving lunatics; talking of swordfights, dragons and the like.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The Outlaws adapted, teaching themselves the art of what they deemed "sonic weaponry," and now believe it is no accident that they have been sent to this era.
