Immigrant Swing

Immigrant Swing offers its own blend of Bristol Riot Swing, a high energy, foot stomping, acoustic music merging sounds from around the globe, with influences ranging from Gypsy Jazz & Blues to Mediterranean Folk & Hip Hop. A Swinging rhythm section - driven by the Balkanic sounds of the Tuba, Manouche Guitar rhythms and Drums- provides the foundations for MCspokeMao to deliver his own style of beat-poetry, with Clarinet & Flute ripping through the melodic lines. Be prepared for anything and make sure to bring along your dancing shoes!

Calamity Poets

Calamity Poets began as a guitar (Joe Louvaine) and trumpet (Pasha Ball) duo but have added to the group with lead guitarist Dylan Ambasna-Jones, drummer Chris Morgan and accordionista, Aaron Buckley. Bassist, Stevie Jo Dooley is an on off addition to the band.

Their intriguing styles self titled "Spaghetti Shonk" is influenced by varied genres including blues,folk, rock and jazz.

David 9 Lunas

As a total musical maverick this Anglo-Trinidadian has been mesmerising crowds up and down Europe for a while now. He has had international chart success with most groups he has been with (No Sweat, B.L.O.W.) – having sold thousands of albums.

David 9 was seen on MTV Music channel and was signed to Warner Chapel Music and London Records.

After his contracts had expired he was free to write and gather material to reflect in his songs. Coupled with a diet of poets and song-smiths from Arthur Rimbaud and George Orwell to Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley David 9 developed into something distinctively original and singularly identifiable.
