It's only been a year since their last visit but back by huge popular demand is Sinderins.
The Dundee supergroup with the rapidly growing reputation, Anderson, McGinty, Webster and Fisher, made a memorable first appearance at Montrose Folk Club in 2014.
In 2015, the band will be releasing their second CD and performing under a new name of Sinderins.
The outfit is made up from parts of three recent hot Dundee Bands in The Law, Luva Anna and Magdalen Green.
Their secret is a blend of three enigmatic songwriters and singers, namely Anderson, McGinty and Webster, thrown together in one melting pot.
They have been described as a breath of fresh air, both musically and vocally. The unusual sound, which they have harnessed, is hinted at by the line-up of instrumentation, which they employ, including bouzouki, mandolin, harmonium, double bass, auto harp and percussion. The music which they have brewed together is a heady mix of folk, hip-hop, rock, blues and country.
Shortly after coming together in 2012, the band recorded their first CD in three days. The CD received very appreciative reviews, culminating in two sell-out concerts of the 350 seater Gardyne Theatre in Dundee. These sell out concerts have since become an annual event.
