Miles Maeda began as a college radio DJ in 1988. Moving to Chicago in the early 90's, he worked regularly with fellow nu-ravers Derrick Carter, Mark Farina and Spencer Kincey, later holding his own 10+ year residency at Smartbar. While living in San Diego, he began his study of yoga and meditation.

This allowed him to travel to and eventually live in Tokyo for 6+ years which gave birth to the ecclectic ZenDaze party and the blossoming of Total M edits. Miles has recently moved back to Southern California with new productions and a 2017 Summer Tour.
