In February of 2012, Kirk Degiorgio played an afterparty in a weird labyrinth space inside of the Club Pittsburgh bath house. We weren't sure it was usable as a club, but hey, why not? The clock hit 8am that Sunday morning, the dance floor was still packed, and we had to pull the plug on what was one of the most intense and latest crowds we'd seen in Pittsburgh. Warp to Dec 2015, and Hot Mass reaches year three of being a real, weekly afterhours venue. We pinch ourselves every day wondering how we got so lucky to have an adventurous crowd and lineups that smoke this hard. We think we have the best party in America. Let's celebrate with the return of the man who kicked it all off – Kirk Degiorgio.

In addition to bringing back one of the first, we'll use this night to launch Humanaut into 2016 with a new addition to the resident roster. Responsible for the crazy all-nighter Midwest Fresh parties going off in Columbus – he's one of us. And a recent transplant to Pittsburgh makes him a perfect fit. Please give a warm welcome to Tony Fairchild as he becomes the latest member of our Hot Mass family.
