Renowned trumpet player Alfons Fear made a name for himself in the creative music scenes in Eastern Canada before returning home to Victoria and collaborating in every music scene in the fertile community from classical music to free improv, world music and jazz. For this special presentation Alfons Fear brings together five of the West Coast top musicians to explore the hard-swinging post bop and intelligent new directions of trumpet artists Tom Harrell, Lee Morgan and more.
