Party: The 98 Cup Winners' Carvery Lunch

A laid-back Sunday lunch, with music, entertainment and memories from the 98 Scottish Cup Final.

The Club is planning a special Sunday carvery lunch in the Gorgie Suite on Sunday the 26th of November as the next event celebrating the achievements of the 1998 Scottish Cup-winning side. The event is the second in a series of nostalgic specials that will run up until the 20th anniversary in May 2018.

Last week, over 200 supporters enjoyed a great night in the inaugural Big Tynie Challenge in the company of the 98 management team, Jim Jeffries and Billy Brown.

The Cup Winners' Carvery will feature interviews with the then club captain and Hearts Principal Ambassador, Gary Locke as well as goal scoring hero, Colin Cameron.

The package consists of:

Delicious Sunday roast with choice of meats from the Head Chef James Corner’s carvery
Welcome drink
Chilled out music from Gorgie’s favourite crooner, Brian Levell
Entertainment from Jody Magician
Interview with 98 Cup final goal scoring hero, Colin Cameron and Club Captain, Gary Locke
Raffle
…all this MC’d by the voice of Tynecastle, Scott Wilson.

Doors open at 12:30pm.

Tickets priced at only £20 for adults and £15 for kids, to book call our Events Team on 0131 200 7244.

The Club is planning 4 further events in this special year with a grand finale in May 2018 featuring many of the heroes from the 98 squad.

Dates for your diary are:
The Big Derby Brunch – featuring Stephane Adam and Stevie Fulton 11:00 – 14:00 on 27 December 2017
Sportsman’s Dinner – 25 February 2018 – full details to follow
The Cup Final rerun – featuring the road to the final and a full rerun of the Hearts’ first Scottish Cup win in 42 years on 9 March 2018.
98 Cup Heroes Hall of Fame – a spectacular star-studded gathering at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre for one of the largest celebrations in the Club’s history with many special guests on 20 May 2018.

1998 was a significant year for generations of fans who had waited patiently for silverware. As we celebrate the incredible feats of the 98 team, we will also pay homage to the heroes of the “Greatest Team”, the 1957-58 league winners throughout the season.
