Scuzzy garage band Weird Womb are coming to Garage Land to make your wild Wednesday dreams come true. The Brooklyn-by-way-of-Tucson punks have been friends since they were kids and have been releasing music for the past three years. The bane released their Laziness EP in September last year, much to the joy of lazy punk rockers everywhere, who suddenly felt better about lying around the house in their underwear. But their live show is anything but lazy. Experience it at Good Room from 8pm.

Often described as if the B'52's, Chrissie Hynde, and Elvis Costello hosted an orgy and it was held at the Pixies house, this is what Shiksa sounds like. The beginnings of Shiksa started at a comedy night in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in April of 2012. Gary French (Bass and Vocals) and Zarrin Taj (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards) met and discussed a desire to make music like influences such Adam and The Ants, The Cars, and The Pixies. They exchanged samples and were soon writing together in the studio. Not long afterward, Jorge Vega (Drums, Vocals) joined the group and SHIKSA was now born!
