Party: Jacco Gardner (Netherlands) with special guests Calvin Love + Dada Plan

Transport yourself to a psychedelic wonderland with your co-pilots Jacco Gardner, Calvin Love & Dada Plan.

Jacco Gardner (Trouble In Mind)
With his brand-new album Hypnophobia, baroque-pop prince and Dutch multi- instrumentalist Jacco Gardner is all set to cast a majestic and vibrant psychedelic spell that will hypnotise listeners to the point where dreams and reality meet. Since unveiling his Cabinet of Curiosities in 2013, tastemakers and fans alike have been drawn deeper into Gardner’s fantastical fairytale kingdom. Between clocking up the miles all over the world, Gardner has honed and refreshed his intoxicating sound with meticulous precision. Capturing a true sense of exploration, Hypnophobia combines Gardner’s newfound love of travel with his continued passion for collecting and playing vintage instruments. Akin to the sonic boom of maverick contemporaries John Maus and Tame Impala, his is a sound that holds fast next to fellow paisley performers Syd Barrett or Simon & Garfunkel. But what truly marks Gardner from his musical ancestors and accomplices is his forward-thinking, hi-tech approach. Gardner is an artist operating at a higher state of consciousness.

Calvin Love (Arts & Crafts)
Only once with every blue moon comes an artist that seems so familiar yet out of space as Calvin Love. On Super Future, the young charmer from Edmonton, Alberta, steeps songs of psychedelic wisdom in celestial sensuality. He arrives an enigma, a strutting, crooning contradiction: as menacing as he is magnetic, like sex and mystery wrapped together in a trench coat. With coolness that defies contrivance, Love links sounds and images of science-fiction vintage with an auspicious version of the future. His reedy tenor phases in the same atmospheric register as age-old synthesizers, while soul-drenched bass and electric guitars chase each other in flirtatious dialogue. The music drips with crystal aura, and it’s this infallible match of the authentic to the inventive that makes Calvin Love’s sound so strange and inviting.
