ABOUT CRAIG:
I am a professional musician with nearly 30 years experience performing, composing, arranging, and teaching piano (jazz and classical), improvisation, theory and musicianship.
I have performed around the world as a musical director, soloist, leader of my own trio and swing big band, and as a sideman and accompanist for well-known musicians and groups including Swing On This, Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, Maria Venuti, Marion Montgomery, the Australian Girls’ Choir and a West End show touring company. I compose music and write arrangements for small jazz groups, vocal ensembles, corporate bands, big bands and orchestras, to suit all ability levels.
I have mentored musicians of all ages on a variety of instruments, providing performance opportunities and professional advice about pursuing a career in music. My students have ranged in age from three to 70, with a variety of skill levels from complete beginners to advanced Bachelor of Music degree students.
