develop local talent!

Acting 101 - Introduction workshop
with Hollywood Actors /Directors/Producers/Writers. .

In an effort to help new actors develop skills in a competitive industry, Mr. Fralick has agreed to help put on a workshop in Edmonton, Alberta. These classes give local actors the chance to spend some quality time, and gain valuable feed back, Q&A, gain direction, knowledge & expertise that can help prepare them to land a job in film, T.V., or Commercials.

The instructors,

David Shark Fralick has been acting in Daytime TV and film currently in Los Angeles, and Canada, and has traveled to Calgary to share with us his experience in the industry. David’s experience comes from training he received at Bo Hopkins Actors Studios, Robert Conrad Actors Workshop, Weist Barron hill T.V. and Film Study. David also has numerous Major Hollywood TV and Film Credits to his name with countless hours in front of the Camera working with many Stars in this industry. David’s experience (90+ credits, & also producing, etc. ) extends extensively into the Hollywood stunt man aspect of the business as well.

Chris Tutty, local actor, producer, and artist to the stars. Trained at the Burt Reynolds institute, UCLA, owned and operated an Executive bar tending school that led to several opportunities in Hollywood , theater and television as well as foreign productions. Recently Chris has worked locally on several productions including the set of Assassination of Jesse James, Passchendale, Heartland, Hell on Wheels and has been involved on many other sets across Canada both in front of and behind the camera. Chris is also a professional artist with a large celebrity clientele. Chris also owns Chris Tutty"s Executive Elite Marketing and is the guy to help you at landing a job.

Intro. Class - Acting 101 : duration 8 hours, Saturday and Sunday April 18 & 19 (Calgary), 1:00 PM - 5:00PM


Each course cost is $225.00

Acting workshops include 8 hours of instruction, booklet with terms and descriptions, guidelines & brief scenes from various films & TV shows, etc.. students will be given commercial sides, ( to perform ), do scene study, improv, learn Audition techniques, cold readings, do Improv, & instructors will help students in developing their character, building the 4th wall ( cameras will record the entire class).

Also, working in the the digital era, Social networking tips & perform scenes with interaction from other actors.

There will also be Included a "Head shot " session on the first day & doing proper head shots, lighting, contrast, & attitude. (photographers, hair & make up for touch-ups only will be available) as well as valuable feed back & critique.

There will be refreshments provided as well.

Minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

As a special incentive, agents and casting directors will be in attendance to give a brief overview of set etiquette.
