CRS?/Dj Curious Born and raised in Los Angeles CRS? has been in the music world all his life. His father before him being a recording engineer at one of L.A.’s top studio of the times “The Sound Factory” in Hollywood he was practically born in the studio. He started on drums at the age of 8 which so happened to be the same year he was first fascinated with the art of Dj’in. At age 13 he received his first pair of turntables and hasn’t put then down since. He has spun in almost every city in North America and has released records all over the world. Including numerous tracks on his own “Herbn’ Music” as well as fellow label mate APX1’s Ghetto Life label. Also being signed to Top Cat's 9 Lives label based out the UK. He produced the hit single "Jah vibes" for Tenor Fly he shows his skills as a producer as well as a dj. CRS? has released over 500 mix-tapes since getting into the drum and bass scene over 18 years ago. His current projects include producing and engineering hip-hop artist Big Bam the Boss an official DPG member and has performed in L.A., Dallas, Seattle, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., Portland, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Hawaii and have opened up for such artists as goldie, DJ Hype, Roni size, Kenny Ken, Grooverider, Fabio, LTJ Bukem, Dj Zinc, Taxman, Brian Gee, J.J. Frost, Total Science, John B., Mobb Deep, KRS-one, Lil’ John, Fat Joe, E-40, Too Short, Nelly, and Immortal Technique to name a few. Future projects include remixes of these hip-hop tracks as well as original drum and bass releases ranging from R&B styles to reggae and reggaeton flavors. A true veteran to the west coast flavor, CRS? represents what’s really going on in the streets of Los Angeles. “Our Ghetto". Now spreading the love for our culutre through series of monthly day parties called "I Love L.A." CRS? & Apx1 now give the oopurtunity to bring the L.A. scene together and express our different styles music all under one roof in just under 12 hours. The drum n bass scene in Los Angeles would be drastically different if not for the influence of the one like DJ CRS?. He has established himself as one of the godfathers of drum n bass here in the City of Angels. From rocking ol’ skool warehouse events back in the mid and late 90’s to rinsing clubs and massive from 2000 till today, CRS? is a name that frequents the lips of many established DJs within the Los Angeles circuit as an influence. His legacy doesn’t stop short with showcases behind the decks, but also include his production credits. He has roughly 30+ releases and hundreds of tunes he has passed out and played as “exclusives”. From the sounds of the dub/reggae influenced ragga jungle to aggressive amen sets even down to upfront drum n bass, CRS? is a rare DJ who has buck’d being pigeonholed and can play any style you want. He is lethal on the decks with the mix, has the ability to implore a jungle scratching technique perfected by few and most important is a favorite of dancefloors across the country.

APX 1, A Los Angeles Born & Raised Dj/Producer who has been involved with the L.A. Underground Scene for over 16 years now. Primarily known for his own unique rough sound & west coast influenced Hip Hop style of Drum n Bass. In 1997 APX 1 started his own artist management company Revolution which was the leading West Coast Drum & Bass Roster. Roster included talents of R.A.W., CURIOUS, HIVE, LION, APX 1, MC QUESTION MARK, and MC DAPPA D. APX 1 has performed at some of Southern Californias record breaking massives. Including Monster Massive, Together As One, Rewind, Guerilla Warfare, and The Cypress Hill Smokeout, including every underground venue for jungle that Los Angeles has to offer. In 1999 Apx 1 co-founded Herbn' Music along with partner Dj Curious which featured ragga influenced jungle music. Which became an imprint for los angeles ragga drum n bass. During this year Apx 1 alongside Raw and Curious toured the entire country. Well over 30 States were toured during just this one year. In 2001 Apx 1 took all of his reggae/hip hop knowledge and put it to work on his own drum n bass label Ghetto Life Recordings along with Ghetto Life Clothing. 1st release was ground breaking for the hip hop/jungle scene. Along with fellow producer SUBFLO a masterpiece was born. Blending the rough gangsta filled lyrics of West Coast Connection with a monstrous amen laced track that took the U.S. by storm. Some of Ghetto Life Recordings dj's and producers include CRS?, SLYTEN, STEEL, JAHWY & IRAY. During his career Apx 1 has released a catalogue of mixtapes and mixed cd's that continues to grow. 2006 was a groundbreaking year for Ghetto Life and Tonz of Drumz. During this year both Curious and Apx1 packed full of merchandise embarked on a tour. HERBN' IN DA GHETTO TOUR included states on both coasts of the United States. The tour also included a date in Johannesburg, South Africa. Now in this New Year of 2007 Apx 1 along with partner Curious have become a pair of the top promoters with Tonz of Drumz in Los Angeles. With a Saturday Night Monthly called "DETOUR". Also a Sunday Day Party Monthly called "I LOVE L.A." that has Over 40 Local Artists Booked at Every Event! We have catered to some of the Best of the Best when it comes to Local All Stars as well as Super Stars. On Halloween 2010 we showcased the Classic Reggae Legend Eek-a-Mouse & WU TANG AFFILIATE Prodigal Sunn from Sunz of Man! We Are Now Celebrating its 8th Year in the LA Undergroud Party Circuit! Now in 2015 It has become one of the Best Day Parties to Attend to for The Los Angeles Underground Bass Scene! APX 1 has become one of the most booked artists in Los Angeles. He has Been of the Resident Dj's at the World Famous House of Blues on Sunset in Hollywood for the past 7 Years. A mysterious sect of selektas out of Southern California who have come together to rise above the average dj and mash-up da place! The Gone JahMen Crew was originated in 2000 by brothers Dustin and Brodie and close friend Keith. At that point in time the I.E. was home to weekly raves and underground parties but not to too many dj's. Tired of seeing average joe dj's come to the I.E., the Gone JahMen went to work playing anything from house partys to raves. Slowly the crew got bigger increasing our drive to promote jungle music. Around 2003 we pulled back, for different reasons; the scene, music, personal lifes, and we slowed down a bit. We were still always together and we continued with our music along side all of us attending our respective colleges. At the beggining of 2005 we teamed up with our old homies from the I.E. to form a group dedicated to drum n bass and ragga music. We got together every friday night in Irvine (O.C.) to let true junglist hear our sound. We were fed up with the same bouncy, techy crap you could've heard in the U.K. four-years ago. We are and will always be driven to bring you something different. So.Cal. is home to so much great talent, we are proud to have the oppurtunity to support that. Our first goal as a crew was to obtain residency at a local dnb club. Our hard work has not only helped us meet that goal but, it has allowed us to create and opperate our very own ragga/drum'n'bass lounge every friday night, FREEBASS FRIDAYS. We continued with Freebass for 10 months. The first night was just a hand full of friends standing around a bar with 4 house speakers to our last night using both main rooms filled over capacity making it one of the biggest jungle party Orange County has seen to date. Freebass brought some big talent from all over including from Congo Natty, Spikey Tee, Twinhooker & Paulie Walnuts, Capital J, Jedi Mind Tricks, Demo, Hochi and some of LA's very best including; RAW, ERS1, APX1, CRS?, Infiltrata etc. During this time a few more friends joined the crew and inspired us to go further. As a crew we're honored to have been sponsored by Owned Clothing a company dedicated to jungle music and has been for many years which has built a roster of dj's containing serious heavy weights such as; Dj Ink, Krinjah, Mad Dem Sound, Babylon Demolitionist, K.O.D.A., RAW etc. Much love and respect to all of the crews, dj's, producers and kids out there puttin' in the same amount of hard work to keep this scene alive. Zaiaku is a dynamic producer and DJ, whose claim to fame is his very distinct look, explosive
stage presence, incredible facial expressions, “insane" bodily gestures, fine track selection, his ability to hype up an audience, as well as his humble and modest personality. He is a Las Vegas based DJ/Producer whose curiosity with music triggered him to become a producer at the young age of 11. He found himself sitting down and making music for hours at a time, striving for progress and perfection, while imitating his favorite artists (e.g., Noisia, Amon, Tobin, Spor, Phace, Reso, Emperor). He never imagined his desire to find a primary hobby which would eventually become a career.
At the age 16, his uncle taught him the skills needed to become a DJ. He landed his first public DJ gig in Las Vegas by the age of 18. His sound engineered productions can vary from “dark” and “gritty” and
sometimes outright “evil bass” music to “infinitely energetic” and “cutting edge”. Glitch-Hop, Electro, Dubstep, and Drum n Bass are only a few of the genres of music he likes to play and produce. Although fairly new to the music industry, you most definitely want to keep an eye on this unique artist.
