Party: David Hoyle's MEGA Thursdays - BOURGEOIS & MAURICE

David Hoyle's Mega Thursday is a loud, proud and big-mouthed cabaret extravaganza where improvisation, performance, comedy and live art collide and the unexpected is guaranteed! Join us for an unforgettable pre-election special! A furious release of democratic energy with the assistance of Bourgeois and Maurice and Victoria Sin.

Your host is the brilliant David Hoyle (The Divine David Presents, Nathan Barley), legendary avant-guardian and force of nature, who comes east for epic monthly nights of no-holds-barred blistering humour and song from April - July.

JOINING DAVID ARE CABARET LEGENDS....
Bourgeois and Maurice!
Alien cabaret terrorists and rightfully worshipped by the population of East London as gods and overlords. Their recent hit shows in Edinburgh and the Soho Theatre established them as The cabaret couple of 2016. Catch them while you can!

MUSICAL COMEDY'S ANSWER TO THE MANSON FAMILY – EVENING STANDARD
WITHERINGLY SHARP AND POINTEDLY BRITISH ★★★★ INDEPENDENT

AND....It's not MEGA THURSDAY without regulars Thom Shaw (The Lipsinkers) and star accompanist Sarah Bodalbhai.
Let our DJ get you in the mood to shake off the week in style, looked-after of course by Bethnal Green's famously friendly bar.

DON'T KNOW ABOUT DAVID?
Be prepared! From Channel Four's 'The Divine David Presents' and 'Nathan Barley' to 'Velvet Goldmine' and live shows at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Barbican, Roundhouse and around the world, you never know quite what's in store!

"the greatest living performer" - Justin Vivian Bond
"He is raw, sometimes a bit frightening, but also thrilling in his look-no-hands recklessness." – The Guardian
"There is nothing quite like it: bold and unique, electrifying and disarmingly humane" – TimeOut
