Christmas is almost here! Our annual Christmas dance is coming up, so lets get out our holiday cheer and have some fun together!
Bring your favourite pot luck snack, treat or finger food and share with everyone.
$1 dance with that jolly old fellow( you know who), proceeds go to Sick Kids Foundation, so grab a few loonies or toonies or maybe a $5 or two and lets help Santa raise some money for some very deserving children.
Dress to impress!

Instuctors: Michael and Amy will be teaching the regular lesson and Ian will be teaching the beginner lesson.
Michael &Amy currently teach group classes at a local studio and are known for their warm and freindly manner with students. Both currently compete several times a year ( at advanced and intermediate level ) and continuously look to upgrade and hone their teaching and dance skills.
Ian Kirkconnell is a long-time Vancouver, B.C. instructor who teaches ballroom, Latin and swing.Ian is known for great energy and a unique interactive teaching style.He constantly strives to improve his dance and bring to his students all the joy of dance he has known.You can see Ian competing, teaching, judging or being the master of ceremonies at the dance conventions throughout the pacific northwest. So bring your friends who do not know how to WCS and place them in Ians very capable hands.

Doors: 7:30 pm
Lessons: 8- 9 pm there is a beginners lesson as well as the
regular lesson
Dancing from : 9- midnight

MUSIC: We have a treat this dance. Jason has recruited Maryann Newmeyer to come and play some music for us this year! We will be dancing to the music of two of Vancouvers best DJ's.
Maryann "NewFuzzySlippers" Newmeyer is one of the Pacific Northwest's top DJs. Based out of Vancouver, BC; she has Deejay’d at multiple regional events and workshop weekends since 2010 and is a regular DJ at the local Vancouver West Coast Swing social dance venues.
Maryann's music is as diverse as the dancers she DJs for. Her flavour in music has always been that it moves you. MA’s goal is to get people out of their chairs and never keep them sitting down for long, no matter their preference. A lover of her craft, she is an active member of Global Swing DJ’s and World Swing DJ’s and is continuously collaborating with other DJs around the world to keep up with music, trends and ways to keep dancers happy.
