Party: World University Games Fundraiser - Annabel's off to Poland!

After many hard hours in the boat, gym and on the ergo our full Tassie battler Annabel has been selected as part of the Australian World Uni Games Team to compete in Poznan, Poland from the 2nd to the 4th of September. She’ll be rowing in the Women’s Lightweight Double Scull with Sophie Jerapetritis from UTS in NSW.

Much like designer boots and fine wine, these things don’t come cheap and in an effort to raise some funds towards the $4050.00 racing fee the Adelaide Rowing Club will be opening its doors on Thursday the 18th of August at 6:30pm. There will be drinks on the bar and shrimp on the barbie with all funds going towards covering the costs.

Additionally we (Hugo) will be running a Fantastically Fabulous Fundraising Raffle with a number of highly coveted donated prizes!

The First Place Fantastically Fabulous Fundraising Raffle Prize will consist of:

- 1 x signed Michael Leunig Print (valued at $350.00) kindly donated by Art Images Gallery, Adelaide.
- $200 IO Merino Voucher kindly donated by IO Merino.

Second Prize will consist of:

- 1 dozen Josef Chromy Wine Selection (valued at $480.00)

Third Prize:

- Hamper containing assorted goods

Tickets will be $10.00 each, sales begin now and will close on the night prior to draw.

The raffle will be drawn on the night, winners not in attendance will be informed via phone.
