Jazzin' it up this Friday is Blu, an enticing blues band based out of New Delhi.
As one of the best guitarists in the city, Pranai has worked with the likes of DRIFT The Trio, Silk Route and Bipul Chettri. Accompanying him on guitars is Kapil Chetri who brings the raw Mississippi sound to the group. Rahul Rai, as a primarily session musician, has worked with Neue Jazz Collective, Rabbi, Sushmit Sen Chronicles and plays the bass for Blu. Holding it together are the eclectic drumming skills of Chewang Lama who works as the Drums Head at the Delhi School of Music when he's not out there collaborating.
Consisted of amazingly talented musicians who have established a name for themselves in the Delhi music scene, listening to them live is a chance hard to miss.
