Kay Mikado, hailing roots from the north eastern part of India was always musically influenced since his childhood. Being a MS is Computer Science, he worked for the big IT giants, but never quit his thirst for music. Started his career as a Disk Jockey parallel with his software career and eventually quite his software career and opened his own night club, completely out of passion for music. After being the owner of 3 night clubs, 2 restaurants, 1 hotel, 4 spas, he fells that he has done good as a business man and now want to give the utmost importance to music in his life.
Thats when he started doing some serious production in Mid 2009. He has grown as a producer at an unimaginable speed and has done more than 90 track international releases with various Record Labels within a short period. He is now considered as one of the leading Producers in India - the land where electronic music is at its highest growth.

Now Kay Mikado has launched his own Record Label - "Lohit Records", under the Proton Music Community as a next big step to his music career. Lohit Records(Proton Music) is mainly into Progressive House/Tech House/Main Stream Progressive and Deep House music. With support from lot of big names, Lohit strongly believes in helping young talents, not only with their releases but also with their sounds. Besides releasing his own tunes, Kay Mikado is on the constant look out for familiar sounds from talents across the globe.
