파리를 거점으로 하는 프랑스 프로듀서이자 멀티 인스트루멘탈리스트인 Jean Tonique은 Lana Del Rey, Outkast, The Kooks, Tuxedo 등을 비롯한 아티스트와의 중대한 리믹스들로 인해 지난 해 가장 주목받는 아티스트 중 한 명으로 빛을 보았다.

올해 3월, 그는 데뷔 EP인 “You”를 Yuksek의 인상적인 레이블 Partyfine을 통해 공개하였다. 하우스와 디스코를 혼합한 후 알앤비를 통해 더욱 풍성해진 6개의 트랙은 지금까지의 결과물 중에서 가장 정교하였으며, 여름 내내 플레이되면서 평단과 댄스 플로어 모두에서 큰 성공을 이뤄냈다.

처음으로 한국을 방문하는 Jean Tonique의 내한 공연을 케이크샵에서 소개하게 되어 우리는 기쁨을 감출 수 없다.

This past March, Jean Tonique released his debut EP “You” on Yuksek’s ever impressive Partyfine label. The 6 tracks of a blend of house and disco with flourishes of Rnb represent his finest work to date and was a critical and dance floor success getting play all summer.
